The start of a new week... And like normal lots to do.  Classes, Work, Research, and Training.  It sometimes seems that there just isn't enough time in the world to get everything done.  And in all honesty we all have these issues in our lives, everyone seems to be just too busy, or just overwhelmingly stressed with the daily mundane activities.  It's pretty easy to take a step back and see where and how we all failed to take that leap, or to accomplish that goal, or to complete our bucket lists.  But the quickest way to fix any problem, is to find the source and find a remedy.

I have come to a conclusion that people ultimately fail to achieve their ultimate desires because they didn't create a habit of fulfilling their daily duties, they tend to succumb to the stress of life and omit the little things that at the time seemed not as important.  In doing this people create a habit, Winning is not something accomplished every so often on a whim, it is a habit, one developed by pushing through stress and overcoming the various set-backs that come our way.  It is sufficient to say, that becoming stronger and becoming what we desire to be is not determined by anyone but yourself.

Today was a good day.  Classes went well, I did well on a test in my Chemistry class and I finished paperwork on a major project that I've been working on.  I wasn't able to make it to the gym, but I can make it a rest day and still make my workouts for the week, so I'm not too worried about it.  Tomorrow will be a my upper body workout routine, I'm wanting to see if my bench has gone up from last week, 6x6 at 175lbs, but my workouts from now on will be starting with a 20min or longer run at a good 7:00 mile pace.  A few things need to happen for my physical goal to take shape, I need to run more miles and lift heavier weights.  It's as simple as that. Time to get it done!

Day by Day, a little stronger.  If you want to get better at something, anything, you need to do it.  My favorite phrase I tell my sprinters.  "To practice running, you need to run."
