One of the hardest things to do is follow a path to the end. It's too common in today's society to just quit when something gets hard, when something interrupts the path. We are surrounded by people who have deserted the concept that overcoming an obstacle is worth the end goal. One of the saddest things that can happen to man is that he never accomplish anything because he could never see something to it's end. Failure itself is not a failure, the true failure is deviating the course just because something tried blocking your path. Personally I know this from when I was just beginning my track and field career, I was stuck at 50 seconds for my 400m time, 5 meets passed and I could not get under that time. I could have looked at my coach and said that the 400m wasn't a good race for me and I should switch races. But in this moment I learned the value of working until I obtained my goal. Discussing a new approach to my training I was able to take my high school 400m mark down to 48 seconds, surprising many coaches and universities were I was able to have a successful track and field tenure in college. The moral of this story is that this particular lesson, that of perseverance, is a tough one to learn due to the nature of this attribute.

Developing perseverance requires obstacles, it requires interruptions and difficulties. There's no way around it. You can't persevere if there's no need to endure in the wake of problems. As the definition according to Oxford Dictionaries reads:
Persistence in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success
One of the things that successful in business and sports did in order to reach their current positions was learn the lesson early, that no one could blaze their path for them, no one could take them precisely where they wanted to be and the only way to achieve the dreams in their soul was to do all they could, no matter the consequences and be guided by those they trust and understand their goals.
Completing your goals is a matter of self mastery and will power. The only way to develop these things is to train your mind. The body alone is INCAPABLE of overcoming all the difficulties that life and society can throw at you... Don't limit your arsenal to just one weapon, fight the opposing forces with a strong mind, spirit and body. Not only will this help you in your goals to be stronger, it will translate into your life as a whole. Beginners are many, it's easy to begin something, but it's something special and gratifying to finish. Be a finisher, be a person who reaches the end goal! Make the decision in your mind and put in 100% day in and day out. That's the formula for success. And here we go!
Every Day... A Little Stronger
