Well, it seems my last post didn't get a lot of love... I apologize for the crappiness, I will try to do better!

Lately it's been extremely difficult for me to get into a rhythm. I have had all the motivation in the world and have been making the time to get things done, but it just seems near impossible to get into a singular pattern of how to progress with my workouts. I have been going through a strength building oriented bodyweight routine. One that is actually quite fantastic, I feel like it would have some serious potential. Like any other system, there's always requirements apart from just your bodyweight. Some of the greatest bodyweight exercises, require bars and steps to perform, and unfortunately it has proven difficult to find a place that is unoccupied enough to have a consistent place to do this. So I have made a decision. With my goal to regain my black belt in ITF, I am going to go through a routine that is plyometric in nature that will develop my agility, explosiveness and speed. Mix that with practicing patterns and techniques outlined in the Encyclopedia that I have, I should become a very agile athlete. Then, when I am able to get into a gym with free weights and standard strength and conditioning equipment... The strength training will begin! It's going to be a good plan.

Sometimes adapting is difficult, but in all honesty when we fail to adapt, we fail to train properly. Competitions very rarely occur in ideal conditions and there are too many variables to account for in training that is you don't adapt to something new every so often, you won't succeed. Simple as that!

Every Day... A Little Stronger
