This has been a good week.  There's not much else to say to describe some the projects I'm working on that are coming together.

My workout system I just have to admit is extremely effective.  Even though these past few weeks I've only been able to be on and off with a consistant schedule, it has still proven to show some good gains in strength and power.
Bench day was great. I was able to move up in weight throwing up 6 sets of 170lbs at 6 reps.  Only 5 pounds from last week, but I only weigh 175, so I'm happy that I'm still increasing by whole percentages that close to my body weight.
Squat day was great as well, 6 sets of 6 reps at 325lbs.  My legs are starting to get some of their size back and looking like a sprinters legs! I have been waiting for that.

Now that the weather is starting to warm up, some more distance running and miles will be my next project, to start getting some aerobic strength and endurance.  it will be nice to not only have some good power behind my  athletics but also some strength to work harder, longer.  The athlete who can work harder and longer than the rest, will win.

Another fun project happening is I'm starting a 5 person indoor soccer team for the college, we've got a league set up and I'm pretty sure it's going to be a blast, I know one thing I need to work on more than anything is footwork and indoors is great for developing footwork.  This is just one more step to getting the skill necessary to try out for a club team, maybe impress some people and see where it can go. What's the worst that could happen from trying? I get turned down? Even if that were to happen I walk away knowing that I was looked at, and in good enough shape to be considered to play with the world's elite.  What Now!! I'll get there, It's only time!
